Paste or edit rows as text
One assignment or category per line. Example: 85,100,40. Weights are used only in weighted mode.
EXAMPLE RESULT

Enter your measurements and calculate.

Calculated in your browser. Shared links include your entered values; only share information you intend to make public.

How to use

Select total points, weighted categories, equal assignment averages, a single assignment, or quick grading. Add a row for each completed assignment; weighted mode uses the percentage in each row. Choose a letter scale only if it matches your course.

Formula & how it works

Points grade = earned points ÷ possible points × 100. Weighted grade = Σ(score ÷ maximum × weight) ÷ Σweight × 100. Average mode gives every assignment equal weight.

Worked examples

Example 1

85/100 and 90/100 give 175 ÷ 200 × 100 = 87.5%.

Example 2

An 85% category weighted 40% and a 90% category weighted 60% give 34 + 54 = 88%.

Assumptions & practical notes

Enter completed work only; a missing grade is different from a zero. Weighted totals below 100% are normalized to the included categories.

Assignment names are not needed for calculation and are excluded from share links. Quick grading uses equally weighted questions.

See our calculation methodology for unit definitions and testing practices.
